The Program equips students with the basic business skills and knowledge required for a successful career in private and public organizations.

  • Objective of the Program

    It is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of all stages of business management, so that students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work as successful executives and managers, within an ever-changing world of a globalized economy. You will study a wide range of fields such as operations, finance, marketing, strategy and human resources and have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge to real, up-to-date case studies. Throughout the duration of the Program you will be informed by specialized invited professors and professionals about the current developments in the field of economics and business and you will visit various organizations, participating in online business simulations.

According to Presidential Decree 38/2010, Law 3696/2008, Law 4093/2012, European university degrees obtained by attending programs in recognized Colleges are professionally recognized by the Independent Department for the Implementation of European Legislation 'A.T.E.E.N.' of the Ministry of Education.

Digital Business Management and Emerging Technologies: The course helps to understand the principles of digital business management. It will focus on the applications of technology, exploring important issues such as the integration of the business environment, business models and internet marketing, requiring an understanding of the theory, application, and maintenance issues.

Financial Accounting: The course is designed to lay the foundation for understanding the accounting requirements of business organizations for internal and external reporting and decision-making. It examines financial accounting techniques for sole proprietorships and public limited companies

Learning through Organizations: The course will enhance students' understanding of what it means to be a professional. This module will support preparation for their future careers by encouraging them to develop, put into practice and demonstrate skills and the behaviors that employers want to see.

Managing People in Organizations: This section introduces human management in organizations, or as it is commonly known as 'Human Resource Management'. It is aimed at students from various disciplines, and not only those who want to pursue a career in IHL. Ultimately, managing people is often the responsibility of line managers and supervisors, so it is important that all graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement it in practice.

Principles of Management: The focus of this module is the management and development of students as principals. Managers are vital to the realization of things, for example, they plan, organize, guide, and coordinate the work of others to achieve organizational goals efficiently and effectively. The challenges of management in today's ever-changing, increasingly uncertain, complex economic environment require managers to have the knowledge, ability, and skills to take action, such as managing information, delegating tasks, setting goals, building teams, motivating others and, along with many other activities, achieving organizational success

Principles of Marketing: The aim of the course is to understand the marketing process in modern organizations, in the context of material goods and services. The services sector accounts for a significant proportion of GDP and employment in most developed economies and therefore It becomes necessary for students to acquire knowledge in the area. In this module, students are introduced to a series of marketing theories such as the concept of marketing, consumer behavior, business environment analysis, marketing research, etc.

Understanding & Managing Data: The module introduces data-driven decision-making and performance measurement and provides students with the hands-on experience of using Excel to convert data into important information. It further introduces students to prediction, definition objectives and project management. Therefore, it provides students with an understanding of the basic principles of statistical methods for making business decisions. In this way, it provides the skills and knowledge required for the modules of levels 5 and 6, including the dissertation, that develop and evaluate the quantitative aspects of business administration.

Understanding the Business and Economic Environment The module is designed to be used by level 4 undergraduates in case studies, which will be drawn from selected areas of industry, such as advertising, aviation, finance, marketing, music, transport, tourism and will be applied to enhance key concepts. This will enhance students' ability to understand specific business problems and aspects of the business and economic environment. Topics and case studies will cover business issues that are contemporary and about the real world.

Principles of Project Management: This module introduces students to the role of project manager, the nature of the projects and how to successfully manage them, focusing on the linear project in which the production of the project is clearly defined at the beginning. Such projects are typical in the construction industry but can be widely found in business organizations. You'll also look at how Agile projects are changing the approach to project delivery to address uncertainty in the product you're about to delivered and accept changes in requirements or circumstances.

International Sales and Negotiations: This module provides students with the opportunity to acquire and develop basic selling and negotiation knowledge and skills. He will particularly consider the international perspective on selling to prepare students for the importance of considering the richness of the current global context.

Leadership in the Practice: This module provides students with an understanding of leadership from both a theoretical and practical point of view. Using current case study examples, they will learn how to apply their leadership knowledge critically. Using multimedia, students will analyze how understanding leadership theory can contribute to the development, guidance and management of business organizations. Students will explore the importance of leaders' characteristics, behaviours, and characteristics through the critical prism of current leadership models.

Organisational Design and Management: The module introduces and explores several key topics related to organizational studies. A wide range of organization theories will encourage students to develop a critical approach to understanding and analyzing key issues in modern organizations.

Problem Solving Methods and Analysis: This module aims to develop students' ability to understand and apply problem-solving and analysis methods in relation to issues that may arise in areas of business and management studies.

Marketing Communications: This module introduces students to the fundamentals of the marketing communication process and the role of an integrated marketing communication approach in both traditional and digital forms of communication, in achieving marketing objectives. The changing environment and the effects of technology are explained as a background for the synthesis of the communication process.

Principles of Finance: The course is designed to introduce students to the basic theory of economics and to apply the theory to the selection and management of the financial and investment portfolio. The course will help students understand theories of economics to develop investment valuation skills and critically evaluate the frameworks for securities pricing, risks and reward relationship.

Creating a Winning Business: The course is designed to introduce students to the design and implementation of a successful business unit. Through special project-type exercises, students will come into contact with the real business environment, improve their skills regarding make business decisions and receive a first taste of their future employment in a company. Through this course, students will receive useful knowledge even if they wish to design and implement their own business.

Financial Decision-Making: The module also provides the knowledge and skills needed to assess the impact of economic decisions. It allows today's students, who are managers of tomorrow, to participate in decision-making processes regarding the use of economics in investing, financial and risk management and achieving value for money to achieve the objectives of the enterprise. Although managers are not always required to carry out a detailed financial analysis, they must have a clear understand how the financial management and decision-making process works to ensure that decisions are properly taken and implemented and that an appropriate risk management system is in place.

Leading Innovation: This core module of the last year aims to enable students to study and put into practice: a range of theories and leadership techniques to critically evaluate and develop their own personal leadership style a range of theories and leadership techniques for critically evaluating contemporary innovation practices and organizations in a range of industries engaged in the practice of innovation a range of theories and innovation techniques to critically evaluate modern innovation processes and organizations in a range of industries that innovate in the synergies between leadership and innovation in a range of contexts.

Practicing Business Strategy: Strategy is a crucial issue, dealing with the development, success, and failure of all kinds of organisations, from multinationals to start-ups, from charities to government agencies and much more. Strategy is therefore a key element of all professional business and administrative qualifications. Equips aspiring managers and leaders with the knowledge, skills, and techniques needed to critically analyze modern organizations into changing environments at national and global level. formulate, evaluate and defend realistic and creative proposals for future strategic direction and plan the effective implementation of the chosen strategy.

Organising and Managing Across Culture: This section will look at the concept of inclusion and how it differs from the concepts of equality and diversity – what it adds and where it can be missing. We will take a close look at the different dimensions of diversity (gender, age, race/ethnicity and so on) in order to understand the specific barriers these groups face and what methods organizations can develop to ensure more inclusive workplaces – so that everyone feels valued regardless of identity or background.

Social Marketing: This module aims to introduce students to a growing new field related to marketing. It provides an opportunity to leverage their marketing knowledge to apply it in situations where the goal is to help to cope with social problems. Students will learn how this developing new science uses various disciplines, in addition to marketing, to help improve the well-being of our societies. This area has been successfully applied to many social ills ranging from obesity, drinking and driving to discrimination and domestic violence.

The Practice of Management: The course is designed to help students put into practice what they have learned during the curriculum. Most of the course focuses on the development of the necessary soft skills for students to establish themselves as managers in their professional careers. Through the course, students will discover the special style of management that suits the aspirations, but also the personality of each one.

Dissertation: This module aims to enable students to complete a research-focused dissertation on a selected topic or topic suitable for their undergraduate degree. Students are invited to reflect on relevant research questions, theoretical concepts/hypotheses, previous literature, ethical approaches, research methodologies and data analyses in an independent and disciplined manner. Students are expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the selected research topics, research methods/approaches, and ability to search for appropriate sample data required for research on a selected topic. The course aims to develop analytical, critical thinking, reporting and time management skills in independent undertaking and reporting on a research project.

The duration of the program is 3 years (full time) and in the third (3rd) year students write their dissertation. The completion of the programme includes obtaining 360 UK Credits, which consists of core courses, electives and a dissertation. There is a possibility of part-time monitoring lasting six (6) years. During the courses, the necessary supervisory and laboratory material is used, including video projectors and PCs in state-of-the-art and fully equipped laboratories. All students have access to the electronic platform INTRANET where the teaching material, grades and announcements for all courses are registered.

Graduates of Business Administration can be employed in many different fields. The most prominent professions that require a Management degree include positions in accounting and finance departments, which absorb a large number of Management graduates. Other areas with high demand for Management graduates are marketing and advertising, as well as retail, sales, human resources and business consulting.

To enroll in the program, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a High School Diploma >13.
  • have knowledge of English (Level B2)

In order for students to enroll in the program, they must submit a file with the following supporting documents:

• University application
• Photocopy of identity card
• Certified copy of the Baccalaureate
• English language certification

The file is evaluated by the Academic Coordinator of the Program and the supporting documents are sent to London Metropolitan University. When registration is completed, their student card is sent to the enrolled students.
