Master on Yachts <200GT 150Nm (Approved by Transport Malta) Deck Officers Training

in cooperation with Maritime MT Program Duration > 3 weeks Offered in Athens – Greece

This course aims to give trainees the essential knowledge and training to skipper a yacht less than 200GT and limited up to 150Nm from a safe haven.

Masters on Yachts 200GT 150Nm program aims to educate and develop Maritime Skills of Yacht’s Deck Officers. It is approved by Transport Malta and provides candidates with the license Master on Yachts 200GT 150Nm.

This program is addressed to both professionals and experienced amateurs who choose to become professionals in the yachting sector and be active in the demanding field of Maritime Hospitality

After successful completing the course candidates will obtain the license Master on Yachts <200GT 150Nm issued by Transport Malta.

  • Practical Boat Handling & Maneuvering
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Hold a valid seafarers medical fitness certificate (IMO/ILO)
  • Hold a valid STCW Basic Safety Training Certificate
  • Hold a valid VHF-SRC, GMDSS ROC or GOC
  • Hold an officially recognized license to skipper a vessel for at least two years
  • Provide documentary evidence of 2500Nm logged approved seagoing service, 100 hours of which must be carried out during nighttime.
