Università di Bari «Aldo Moro»
The University of Bari Aldo Moro (UNIBA) has been a state university for more than 90 years.It has a student population of more than 45.000 students and is internationally recognized as one of the largest and most reputable Universities of Italy.
In 2008, in accordance with the unanimous decision of the Board of Directors, the University was renamed the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, in memory of the Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro, who worked in Bari Law School as a professor.
The UNIBA is firmly established in the Italian educational field, offering more than 120 different study courses, all of which are of a very high quality.
Thanks to continuous scientific and educational dynamic update,
the UNIBA expands on the national as well as the international level by initiating cooperation with other universities, businesses and other organizations.
International approach and vision.
Since 1983 the University of Bari has been the head office of the community of Mediterranean Universities (CUM), which is constituted of 160 Universities of all Mediterranean countries.
The community is recognized by Unesco as a non-governmental supra-national organization and its aim is to promote scientific and technological research.
The UNIBA has also entered into cooperation with many European, American and Chinese universities and continually exchanges information, experiences and scientific results with them.
