BA (Hons) International Hospitality & Tourism Management

City Unity College, in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University, offers an undergraduate program BA (Hons) International Hospitality & Tourism Management for those who want to acquire a comprehensive knowledge and professional skills to work effectively as middle or senior executives in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK validated the 3-year Swiss Alpine program in International Hospitality & Tourism Management and confers the Bachelors degree at the end of the third year. This program is offered at City Unity College since 2012. The first two years of the program, including two paid internships of 5 months each, lead to the award of the Swiss Alpine Diploma in Hotel Management. The program is aimed at students who wish to acquire the appropriate knowledge and professional skills to work effectively as middle or senior executives in the hotel and tourism industry.

Students who join the 3-year BA (Hons) International Hospitality & Tourism Management program at City Unity College have the opportunity of graduating with dual qualifications: a Swiss Alpine Center Diploma and a BA(Hon) from Cardiff Metropolitan University. This makes our students very employable.

The presentation and teaching of the courses encourages active research and the learning process facilitates the personal development of students through teaching and learning methods which include:

The Hospitality Department offers its Master’s program at Athenian Riviera in Vouliagmeni, a self-owned Luxury 4-star Hotel, the only College Campus which is actually a fully operational Hotel.

For undergraduate programs all applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with an average grade of at least 60% of the high school’s highest grade
  • In exceptional cases an interview or challenge courses or entrance exams or accreditation of prior learning will be required in consultation with the director of the department.
  • Meet the English Language Proficiency Requirements which are:
  • Graduation from a high school in an English-speaking country (where the teaching language was English).
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 5.5 (B2 Level),
  • An online English test to be arranged by the Admissions Department.
